Finally, dry hand relief!

One thing I am loving at the moment is the NEW Carmex Healing lotion and Healing Cream.
The combination of the cold, dry New England weather and constant hand washing to ward off germs, this has been a lifesaver for my hands. This comes in two formulations, lotion, which is a thinner consistency. The cream is a little bit thicker and has been my favorite of the two.
I am in love with the fact that this absorbs so well and quickly into the skin! You know when you put lotion on and you have to look around for a tissue or something else to get the excess off? Not here! I have tried a lot of different lotions and have never had one to absorb into your skin within a few seconds. The cream and lotion do have a scent, it is a very light vanilla-ish scent that dissipates after a while. Thankfully, Carmex kept the packaging small enough to be able to throw this in my purse (they do sell a travel sized one too! which is great too because if your like me and have an obsession with lotions and don't want to commit to a large size, the travel sized one is a great option and price!)
Carmex Healing lotion and Carmex Healing Cream can be purchased at your local Walgreens, or Walgreens.com and drugstore.com.

Carmex is also giving YOU the opportunity to try out these great products! Carmex will be giving away a kit worth $52!!!! WOW!

Long time no see!

Things I'm loving at the moment...

1. Maybelline Smooth Mousse Foundation
This foundation has the smoothest texture I have ever come across. It is a whipped consistency and when you apply it, it literally melts into your skin. On my skin, it is a heavier feel of foundation but to me its worth it because of the coverage it gives. Def try it out!

2. Tarte Park Avenue Princess Bronzer
Non orangey or muddy bronzer on my PALE skin. Love this bronzer to extend the summer glow!

3. China Glaze polishes in Blue Sparrow and Dorothy Who?
Apply Blue sparrow and top it off with Dorothy Who? and you've got a sparklicious mani or pedi!

4. Working on fitness :)
Why is it that the first 15 minutes of any cardio excercise suck? 16 minutes and up and your endorphins kick in and you feel great! I have been trying to go to the gym 3-5 times a week and am loving how I feel afterwards.

5. Starbuck Pumpkin Spice Latte
I used to hate anything pumpkin but as I've gotten older, I have acquired a taste for it, and this latte is delicious. A nice way to get ready for the fall weather :)

Hi Everyone!

I'm going to be reviewing some of the MAC Liberty of London collection and MAC Art Supplies collection. Overall, I think the LoL collection is beautiful. The texture of the eyeshadows and beauty powders are so soft and pigmented.

Here is a picture of the three things I bought:

MAC states the Shell Pearl Beauty Powder is a "luxurious, soft pearl finish" and is a "pale peach with gold pearl." I love the BP for a cheekbone highlight.

I am a huge fan of gray eyeshadow so when I saw Bough Grey, I knew I had to have it. MAC states Bough Grey is "midtone blueish gray" and on me it pulls more towards grey with not a lot of shimmer seen on the eye. Birds and Berries is a "frosted dark green blue" which I haven't really played with, unfortunately.

Did I mention how cute the packaging is? LOVE

Next is the MAC Art Supplies Collection, which I only purchased two of the pearlglide eyeliners because nothing else was really calling to me.

MAC states that these are "an eye pencil that provides rich, luxurious colour with a touch of shimmer and sparkle." These have the best application I have ever found with an eyeliner. They go on like butter! and I washed dishes after taking this swatch and only the purple glitter flakes came off. I had to use makeup remover on the rest, the next morning! I didn't see online if they were waterproof for sure but they acted like it. I would highly recommend you check these out at your counter if they haven't sold out yet.

Thats all I have for now! Check back soon for more of my favorites!

5 Things I'm loving at the moment...

1. Lush Rockstar Soap
Perfect for spring! Smells sweet and a little fruity to me, leaves a great scent on my skin and leaves the bathroom smelling sweet afterwards.

2. Chanel Pro-Lumiere foundation in #10 Nude
This formula is wonderful, dewy and full coverage for me. The color is a little dark but once I get some color on my face it will be a better match since I am wicked pale.

3. Sun & Sand candle from Yankee Candle
After all the rain we have had, this scent is so welcoming right now! Reminds me of the beach

4. Hot pink toes! Yay, I can see my toes! and their pink and in sandals :)

5. MAC Liberty of London collection
I'm a sucker for packaging and this one is pretty! I have Birds and Berries and Bough Grey eyeshadow along with Shell Pearl Beauty powder. I'll be doing a review of these products soon!
